Dear beloved valuable students, faculty and staffs
Our main goal is to provide services with an educational model in accordance with international
standards that combines health and technology in a manner befitting the name of our university.
Today’s population growth, environmental pollution and widespread health problems caused
by unhealthy diet, as well as people’s desire to live healthy for a long time; the need for health
services is increasing every day. Access to quality healthcare is one of the basic needs of
societies. In the provision of health services, there is need for health professional who is
academically equipped, respect ethical values in the light of positive science and have moral
values in their field.
Grounded in my deep commitment to human and community health, as a Dean, I intend to
prepare the Faculty of Health Sciences to meet the challenges of the coming decade and
position it as a leading institution in the Janakpurdham, Nepal and throughout the world. I will
promote innovative, cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research teaching methods, simulation as
an educational tool, entrepreneurship, and continued updating of our teaching content, with a
focus on preventive medicine, and global health
Dear students, the duration and place of university years in human life is very valuable. I
sincerely want you to have good university life academically, socially and culturally, and to
accumulate good memories. I believe that in near future I will see you as a member of this
university family, as individuals who make difference in their careers and contribute to our
country with high value-added jobs.
