Dr Manoj K Yadav was born in Sapahi, Dhanusha, Nepal. He holds Master Degree in Physics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal (1999) and Ph D in Material Science from S N Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences / Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India (2011). He worked as Post Doctoral Fellow at California State University, East Bay, USA (2012), University of Houston, Texas, USA (2013) and Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden (2013-2014). In 2015 he joined Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Nepal as a Research Fellow and after completion of one year’s tenure he was appointed as the Senior Scientific Officer of NAST. From 2017 to 2022, Dr Yadav worked as a Lecturer in Physics at St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, Kathmandu where he taught Condensed Matter Physics (M. Sc. 4Th Semester). Dr Yadav has track record of research in the areas of diluted magnetic semiconductors (DMS), thermoelectricity, atomic and moleculer clusters, dinitrogen activation, drug binding and tissue optics. Dr Yadav was a recipient of Science Award 2016 (Bigyan Puraskar 2073) awarded by NAST. He is a Life Member of Nepal Physical Society (NPS)
