Mr. Shatish Basnet is the Head Office Assistant working at the Office of the Examination Controller, Rajarshi Janak University, Janakpurdham. Originally from the historic city of Gorkha, Nepal. From a very young age, his family embedded in him a deep love for learning, and that appreciation for knowledge has truly shaped every aspect of his life, both personally and professionally.
His journey at Rajarshi Janak University (RJU) began in 2076 B.S., and since 2079 B.S., he has served in the Central Examination Department. In this key role, he manages examination schedules, result processing, and compliance for diverse programs such as MBA, BBA, BDBM, BCA, BALLB, BJMC, B.Sc. CSIT, B.Sc. Ag., B.Sc. MLT, BPH, BE(Civil), BIT and MPhil.
He’s super careful about following all the university’s rules and academic standards. His excellent administrative and organizational skills are utterly key to Rajarshi Janak University maintaining its rigorous academic standards and ensuring its demanding academic calendar runs smoothly, something clearly seen in the regular announcements of exam schedules and results.
