Mr. Santosh Kumar Aryal is a seasoned public sector professional and financial administrator from Nepal with decades of distinguished service in government institutions, educational boards, and the financial sector. Born on 26 August 1960 (B.S. 2017-05-11), he is a Nepalese national, Hindu by religion, and currently resides in Tokha-3, Kathmandu, with his permanent address in Rajbiraj-8, Saptari, Madhesh Province, Nepal.
Mr. Aryal possesses a strong academic background in Management, having completed his School Leaving Certificate from Kesho Anirudhvati Vocational Secondary School, Rajbiraj. He pursued higher education at Ramsagar Multiple Campus, Janakpurdham, earning a Management Certificate Level and later a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Tribhuvan University.
His professional career began in the public sector as an Account Officer at the Cottage Industries and Handicrafts Emporium, New Road, under His Majesty’s Government. He later served in various key positions at the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB), including Under Secretary, Deputy Controller, and Controller, where he played an important role in examination administration and institutional governance.
Following the restructuring of the education system, Mr. Aryal continued his service at the National Examination Board (NEB), where he served as Controller and later as Kathmandu Branch Chief. He retired from government service in 2075 B.S., leaving behind a legacy of integrity, efficiency, and dedicated public service.

Mr. Aryal is recognized for his strengths in project management, leadership, public relations, effective communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. He is fluent in Nepali, English, and Hindi.
